R.E
RE explores big questions about life, it helps us find out what people believe and what difference this makes to how they live.
It helps pupils to make sense of religion and belief, reflecting on their own ideas and ways of living.
RE helps us show empathy to the wider world and helps us become well rounded individuals.
At Haselbury Plucknett Primary School we follow the RE Today curriculum which has been created in collaboration with Katie Freeman and Bickleigh Down Church of England Primary School.
As a Church of England school, we study further Christian festivals throughout the year through interesting and varied activities which help us reflect on the Christian religion including Harvest, Christingle and Easter.
Each half term we have a focus on our Christian Value and take part in activities relating to these.
